Several RHBA members awarded scholarships to local Hispanic students during the Annual Gala and Hispanic Scholarship Recognition Awards organized by the Ibero-American Action League on June 11, 2011.
RHBA members presenting scholarships are:
- Emeterio M. Otero, Ph.D., to student Nayarit Davila – East H.S.
- First Capital Payments, to students Mary Elizabeth Lugo – Brockport H.S.
- El Mensajero Católico, to students Carolyn Nicole Santiago – Wilson Magnet H.S.
- La Voz Rochester, to student Angela Maria Smith – Our Lady of Mercy H.S
