These are some of the programs the Rochester Hispanic Business Association sponsors (or has sponsored) in the community:
Scholarships for Hispanic Students
RHBA has been awarding scholarships to area Hispanic students college bound for more than a decade as part of its mission to enhance the educational opportunities of members of the over all Hispanic community.
Those recognized trace their roots to most of the countries in Latin America and Spain. Some of the early RHBA scholars have already finished their college studies and are contributing members of the community in different areas.
Hispanic Little League Baseball Team
For several years, the Rochester Hispanic Business Association has been sponsoring the uniforms of one of the teams of the Hispanic Little League Baseball Team.

Golisano Children’s Hospital
Since 2007, every Spring and Christmas, the Rochester Hispanic Business Association has been donating toys and coloring books to the Golisano Children’s Hospital, for staff to give to children who are patients there during the holiday seasons.
“During the Christmas season, we want to bring a bit of holiday cheer to the kids,” said Grace Tillinghast, RHBA Past President. “There is nothing more rewarding than bringing a smile to a little person who is not at home to enjoy the joys of this special time of the year.”
Reading Partnership with School #9
During the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years, the Rochester Hispanic Business Association engaged in a Reading Partnership with School #9. Members of the association, as well as some of their family members and friends, visited School # 9, on North Clinton Avenue in the city of Rochester.
As part of this partnership between the school and RHBA, the volunteers read to kindergarten students every week. School # 9 houses a large number of students of Hispanic background.
