Luis Emilio Ormaechea has been elected to the board of directors of the Rochester Hispanic Business Association.
Ormaechea, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, currently practicing corporate, intellectual property, and real estate law as an associate attorney at Underberg & Kessler LLP.
Among his community activities, he serves as a member of the marketing committee of the Genesee Center for the Arts and Education and is on the board of Literacy Volunteers of Rochester.
Grace Tillinghast, RHBA chair, said Ormaechea’s legal expertise will be helpful to the board and the organization.
“As an association, we always benefit from the knowledge of each of our officers and the advice they are able to provide us in a myriad of areas,” Tillinghast said. “We look forward to having Luis in our leadership ranks.”
RHBA, an affiliate of the Rochester Business Alliance, was founded in 1989.
