A warm day celebrating the beginning of Spring was a great frame for our second meeting of the Business Lunch series, which took place last March 20th.
Our guest Annette Jiménez , from El Mensajero Católico , lead the conversation, sharing some of the ‘secrets’ to get businesses, and news in general, in the radar of local news organizations. Interesting questions and answers went back and forth at the table, over savory chicken fajitas and taco salads, while small chats took place on the side with people exchanging business cards and getting to know each other.
Real Estate Professional Mildred Vázquez (Greater Rochester Homes), from the RE/MAX Realty Group sent us these comments afterwards: “The luncheon this week with Annette Jimenez from El Mensajero was not only a pleasant experience with good food and conversation, but full of useful information and networking opportunity. The table was packed, I ran out of cards, and Annette was well prepared and delivered a presentation that was full of tips and information that as a business owner I can use immediately. Needless to say, the food at Monte Alban was delicious as it always is and reasonably priced. I look forward to the next series luncheon.”
We also look forward to having you again, Mildred. Our next business lunch will be at Salenas, with special guest Dr. Emeterio Otero, Executive Dean of the Damon City Campus (MCC).
It was a really fun group, who with patience and a smile put up with my “paparazzi attacks”. I hope you can see by the images below that we had a very nice time, especially those of us who remained at the end (perhaps too much fun?). And we didn’t even have margaritas!
Many thanks to all who attended and to our gracious hosts at Monte Alban.
