For over a decade, the Rochester Hispanic Business Association has been awarding scholarships to local Hispanic students.
This year, the RHBA scholarships will be awarded to two college bound Hispanic students: Javier Enrique Torres (Odyssey Academy) and Olivia Martinez (Rush Henrietta).
RHBA members who will also be presenting scholarships during the event are:
- Dr. Emeterio Otero (Monroe Community College) – two scholarships in memory of his parents
- El Mensajero Catolico (Annette Jimenez, Randy Phillips Apodaca) – one scholarship
- First Capital Payments (Hiram Hernandez Sr., Hiram Hernandez, Jr.) one scholarship
The awards will be presented at the Ibero-American Action League’s Annual Gala and Hispanic Scholarship Recognition Awards on June 9th, 2012.
