Last June 10th during their monthly dinner at the Holiday Inn Airport, the Rochester Latino Rotary Club honored local business owners who were making a significant impact on the economy of our community. The honorees were enlisted in the Rochester Latino Rotary Club Honor Roll of Latino Entrepreneurs.
Among these outstanding entrepreneurs were several RHBA members: Gilbert R. Perez, Esq., Alfred Burgos (Burgos Income Tax), Orlando Rivera (New York Life Insurance Company), Bera Jurado (State Farm Insurance), Hiram Hernandez Sr. (First Capital Payments), Zury Brown (El Pilon Criollo), Tricia Cruz (Vamos Public Relations), Vilma Burgos (Burgos Income Tax) and yours truly Kelly Mullaney (Working Art Media).
The keynote speaker of the event was Luis E. Ormaechea, RHBA board member and Associate at Underberg & Kessler LLP. Mr. Ormaechea talked about corporate and business intellectual property.
