RHBA members Annette Ramos and Jacklyn Ortiz appeared on the WXXI radio show “Connections with Evan Dawson” on Dec. 15. La Cumbre is an organization working to help Latinos become more engaged in civics, have a greater voice in local policy, and gain more educational opportunities for children of color.
The show previews La Cumbre’s Latino Holiday Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 21 at MuCCC Theater, 142 Atlantic Ave. The Connections show features a little music, a little spoken word, and plenty of discussion about how to achieve more inclusion in western New York. Guests were Orlando Ortiz and Annette Ramos, co-facilitators of La Cumbre’s Arts and Cultural Committee and Jacklyn Ortiz, member of Rochester City Council.
