The ¡Soy Unica! ¡Soy Latina! Rally 2016 will take place on Saturday April 9, 2016 at St. John Fisher College.
This event empowers young Latinas ages 7 to 18, encouraging them to feel good about themselves and be proud to be Latinas. During the event, the girls get to meet a panel of successful Latina women sharing their personal and professional experiences. This year, it’s all about communication, “Latinas in Communication-Paying it Forward”.
The 2016 Madrinas are Andrea Holland and Norma Holland.
Andrea Holland is a communications coach, presenter and speaker with 15 years of experience in broadcast media, public relations and video production. As head of Holland Communications, she coaches professionals and teams on how to communicate more effectively with the audiences that matter most to them.
Norma Holland is an anchor and reporter for Good Day Rochester on 13WHAM and FOX Rochester. She’s also the weekday noon anchor and hosts the multicultural affairs show, “Many Voices, Many Visions” on Sunday mornings.
