After receiving the Hispanic Business Person of the Year award, Orlando Ortiz gave an emotional, well received speech. Being a very humble person, which is one of his many traits, he asked that all those who have helped him in his journey, starting with his parents, to stand up. It was very moving when the majority of the attendees did! During Ortiz’s remarks, he had everyone’s attention and the entire gala audience gave him a standing ovation when he finished.
