RHBA member Jane Sutter recently wrote and published a new book, Beloved Burlington: Featuring businesses you knew and loved!
The book strikes a nostalgia chord with Baby Boomers who grew up in Jane’s hometown of Burlington, Iowa. The book features a dozen well-known businesses and interviews with the families that owned the businesses, along with more than 100 historical photos.
Jane is the owner of Sutter Communications, which offers writing, editing and public relations services. She also is the author of Sutter’s Sodas Satisfy: A memoir of 90 years of Sutter Drug Co., a book about her family’s business that was based in Burlington. Jane’s new book has proven to be so popular that she is planning a sequel to feature more businesses. Jane’s books are available through Burlington By The Book.
