Jaira Santiago, owner of Beads and Bangles by Jaira, participated as a panelist during the TedX Ibero Salon on February 26. She was the only female business person in the group. She shared how she started her own business with an investment of $1,500. While raising two small children, Jaira worked tirelessly to bring her jewels and creations to the local market. It took her four years until she was able to have a ‘brick and mortar’ location.
