Association Elects Three New Members to Board of Directors.

Rochester, NY, January 18, 2022 – The Rochester Hispanic Business Association (RHBA) has elected a new Board of Directors for the 2022-24 term: Chairperson: Lisa Martinez DeVinney; Vice-chair: Orlando Rivera; Immediate past chair: Grace Tillinghast; Treasurer: Agustín Rodríguez; Secretary: Elena Nescio; Members-at-Large: Sergio Esteban, Eugenio Marlin, Luis Ormaechea; and Liliana Ruíz. Of this list, Rodríguez, Nescio, and Ruíz are new members joining this year.
Elena Nescio is a full-time clinical faculty member at the University of Rochester in the Simon School of Business. With 19 years of experience in marketing, she continues to consult in the private sector under the name Avocado-Peppers Consulting, LLC.
Agustín Rodríguez is the Senior Director of Ibero Business Center (IBC), a division of Ibero-American Action League, Inc. He handles business courses, consulting, technical assistance, lending, and share-space for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.
Liliana Ruíz currently serves as the City of Rochester’s Director of Special Projects and Educational Initiatives. Ms. Ruíz also organizes the Just Law program, a collaborative effort between the City of Rochester, the 7th Judicial District, the Rochester City School District, and the Rochester Black Bar.
Rochester Hispanic Business Association (RHBA)
The RHBA was founded in 1989 to increase the visibility of Hispanic professionals and business owners in the area by providing a forum to network and interact with other members of the business community and political leaders.
