Sergio Ruffolo is the Chief Operating Officer for JR Language Translation Services, a position he was appointed to in June 2007. In this position he oversees the day to day operations of the Webster, NY translation bureau. During his tenure he has led the acquisition of multinational accounts, driven double digit sales growth, and the development of a highly professional native speaking translation team.
Prior to this appointment, Ruffolo served in various senior management positions at Ford Motor Company, ITT Industries and the Oil and Gas Company PDVSA in Venezuela. He has provided consulting services to Xerox and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mr. Ruffolo has more than 25 years of multinational experience, leading IT organizations in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. His project expertise spans the areas of Systems localization, supply chain, logistics, product development, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Ruffolo is a certified six sigma green belt. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and speaks conversational Portuguese.
Ruffolo was born in Argentina, and schooled in the U.S. and Venezuela. He has a BSc in Computer Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela, and an MBA (Marketing) from Zulia University in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
