Julio Saenz is the General Manager for Poder 97.1 FM. The station hit the airwaves in November 2015. Launched by the Ibero American Action League, Poder is the first 24 hour Latin radio station in the state outside of New York City. The dual-language station offers music and educational capsules designed to empower the Latino community. This objective is the reason for the acronym WEPL: El Poder Latino (Latino Power).
