Livia Sales-Genoves
Livia Sales-Genoves is Director of Casa Hispana at Nazareth University. Casa Hispana is a language and cultural resource center where everyone, including the local community, is welcome. Spanish courses, children’s programs, folkloric dance performances, food tastings, and art exhibits are just a few examples of the events that take place at the Casa.
What are you currently most excited about when it comes to your organization?
To be able to offer the community and students a cultural exchange, to share our values, traditions and way of seeing life. Latinos and Hispanics have a lot to say in American society.
Why did you become a member of the RHBA and why should someone consider joining?
Our community must work together to support and relate to each other to create strong bonds that allow us to move forward.
