The Rochester Hispanic Business Association (RHBA), is now an affiliate chamber of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), joining a network of over 250 Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.
Rochester Hispanic Business Association Chairperson Lisa Martinez DeVinney said, “We are delighted to announce this exciting partnership with USHCC, whose mission is to promote the growth, development, and interests of more than five million Hispanic-owned businesses that
contribute over $800 billion to the American economy every year. As the mission of the RHBA is to promote the economic growth and development of Hispanic-owned businesses and Hispanic professionals in the Greater Rochester area, we believe our two organizations align perfectly.”
USHCC, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, partners with more than 260 major American corporations and receives over 200 million in annual funding. Both USHCC and RHBA’s goal is to empower our communities by providing resources and adding value to our members.
According to USHCC, “Chamber membership at the USHCC aims to build the bridge between corporate America and our nation’s 4.37 million Hispanic-owned firms. This is accomplished by providing the platform and resources for corporations, Hispanic enterprises, and local chambers of commerce to engage and build meaningful relationships for the benefit of our American
economy.”
The Rochester Hispanic Business Association will welcome USHCC’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations, Synthia Jaramillo, as the keynote speaker at the 32nd annual Hispanic Business Person of the Year gala luncheon on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
