Director, Amazonia Summer Camp

We are a bilingual summer camp where campers learn to appreciate cultural diversity via crafts, sports, games, songs, international cuisine, and more! Allowing them to build friendships based on empathy, curiosity, and shared experiences.

What are you currently most excited about when it comes to your organization?
Giving the opportunity to kids with special needs (Autism spectrum) to enjoy and interact with other kids, helping them to socialize and assisting them with their sensory challenges.

Why did you become a member of the RHBA and why should someone consider joining?
I became a member of the RHBA because this is my second year running my business and I know the value of being part of this community. I know the importance and the valuable resources, networking opportunities, and educational programs that can help me to improve my camp. Learning from and listening to others can give me the opportunity to learn from experts and give me skills that can help me grow as a person and business manager for my camp.
