Topics will include the new minimum wage and salary thresholds for 2025, prenatal leave for expecting employees, the end of Covid-19 leave, and employers’ responsibilities in accommodating nursing employees. If time allows, Yomaris will also touch on the Retail Worker Safety Act, which mandates that covered retail employers establish and implement programs to prevent workplace violence. These discussions underscore the continuous efforts to balance employee rights with employer responsibilities in our ever-evolving workplace environment.
