Join us as Rick Frederick, Nadia Paulino and Kenda Carfagno from Visions Federal Credit Union come and present on financial wellness for business owners. They’ll be addressing issues such as what lending options are available for small businesses and how personal credit impacts your business.
Rick Frederick is a Commercial Loan Officer at Visions Federal Credit Union in Syracuse. Rick was formerly a PGA Golf Professional, and managed numerous golf facilities in the Syracuse area before transitioning to commercial lending. Rick currently covers the Syracuse, Rochester and Cortland, NY markets. Rick holds an Associates degree in Business Administration from SUNY Broome Community College. As a commercial lender, he helps business owners and real estate investors secure financing. His focus is on commercial real estate mortgages, equipment loans and business lines of credit. As a former business owner and general manager, Rick offers valuable insight into business operations and how lending can help a business grow.
Nadia Paulino is a dedicated bilingual Branch Manager at Visions Federal Credit Union in Rochester, bringing over 26 years of experience in the banking industry. With a strong emphasis on member service and community engagement, she strives in fostering relationships and delivering innovative financial solutions. Nadia holds an associate degree from Monroe Community College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Roberts Wesleyan University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Her commitment to professional growth and her passion for helping others navigate their financial journeys continues to drive her success in the field.
Kenda Carfagno is a Financial Wellness Officer at Visions Federal Credit Union in Syracuse. As a former financial planner she discovered that many people could benefit from financial literacy education as she guided them on their personal financial journeys. In addition to hosting informational seminars, she also provides one-on-one counseling for members and non-members of Visions. Kenda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, and has a Financial Services Certified Professional designation from the American College of Financial Services. She is well versed in several financial literacy topics ranging from budgeting and credit to retirement and basic estate planning. In addition to working at Visions she sits on the board for Junior Achievement of CNY and the Lyncourt Board of Education. She resides in Syracuse with her husband and 3 children.
