Join us at the D’Mangu Restaurant for our November Business lunch event featuring Andrew Brady!
Topic: Can purposeful businesses that balance the needs of all their stakeholders compete with profit-driven companies that prioritize their stockholders above all? Conscious Capitalism has proved that they can…and the movement is growing! Come learn about the four pillars of Conscious Capitalism, why they lead to more sustainable success and how to get started with the evolution of your own business!
In addition to co-founding a local chapter of the worldwide Conscious Capitalism movement, Andrew is the Chief Evolutionary Officer of The XLR8 Team, where he works with leaders to evolve themselves toward realizing their purpose and evolving their company’s culture. Andrew’s forthcoming book, For The EVOLution of Business, explores how the principles of evolution reveal a path toward a more “conscious” capitalism and why the only sustainable path to a thriving planet is through inclusive prosperity for all.
Andrew was just seven years old when his father, Tom Brady, started The XLR8 Team. By the time he was eight, he had already taken his first leadership assessment, kicking off a lifetime passion for studying and practicing leadership. Andrew’s undergraduate degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University included a Leadership and Diversity certificate program. In 2015, he earned a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew is also the President of Rochester Young Professionals as well as serving on the boards of Junior Achievement, the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation, Rochester Rotary and the NextGen Rochester Young Professional Giving Circle. He previously served as a board member of the Greater Rochester Chamber and as co-chair of the RocCity Coalition of 50 local Young Professional groups to implement a Vision 2025 plan to encourage YPs to take a more active role in co-creating the future of Rochester. Andrew was named as a 2017 honoree of the Rochester Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Awards and a 2019 “Top Thought Leader in Trust” by Trust Across America.
