March Business Lunch – Judge Sigüenza

Our guest speaker for the RHBA March Business Lunch series will be Judge David E. Sigüenza, New York State Supreme Court Justice. He will share reflections on his legal career, the path that led him to the bench, and lessons with meaningful implications for business leaders.

Judge Sigüenza served as the Monroe County Conflict Defender’s First Assistant prior to his election to the New York State Supreme Court in November of 2025. In his role as a Conflict Defender, he provided representation to low-income clients in Family Court, City Court and Appellate Matters. He previously worked as a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney, City of Rochester Law Department Attorney, Family Court Support Magistrate, and attorney in private practice.

Judge Sigüenza earned his Juris Doctor from Touro University in 2009 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fordham University. Judge Sigüenza’s Chambers are located at the Monroe County Hall of Justice in Rochester, New York.
