October 2025 Business Lunch – Dr. Lomax Campbell

Dr. Campbell is a management scholar-practitioner with over 20 years of experience across small business, higher education, nonprofit, and public administration. He has helped raise or develop more than $34M in grants to support workforce and economic initiatives in Rochester, NY, and designed a $3M entrepreneurial ecosystem accelerator. Nationally, he has served as a subject matter expert for programs like Massachusetts’ $10M Rapid Recovery Planning Program.

He is the founding President & CEO of Third Eye Network (TEN), a consultancy working with organizations and communities on transformational projects addressing social and economic challenges. Under his leadership, TEN administered the Rochester Economic Development Corporation, leading its turnaround through strategic planning, rebranding, real estate development, and ecosystem-building efforts.

Dr. Campbell holds degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Maryland Global Campus, as well as a Harvard Kennedy School certificate. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, labor market analyst, and Kemetic Yoga Teacher.

An active community leader, he belongs to Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Sigma Pi Phi, and several professional associations. He enjoys arts and culture with his wife, Dr. Ashley N. Campbell, and their daughter, Ajá-Xola.
